Track of the week: Desert With Me

Francisco Guerrero, also known as Paul Lennar, is recognized by his dark, dense, atmospheric, strong musical style full of soft, deep, progressive rhythms and melodic lines. His productions come from the elegance of Progressive House to the acid keyboards with a lot of Groove and through minimalistic sounds that go beyond the deepest Deep Techno with also other elements.

His collaborator Gunter also comes from the techno world. Yet, this track is ethereal and organic in nature.

Wasting no time, Desert With Me begins with a groovy bass line and percussion. An evolving pad brings us in to the sounds. The melody keeps building throughout. A haunting spoken word vocal rounds the track out with beautiful hymn-like singing in the background.
